Datalys Center will expand beyond collegiate athletic data surveillance to create the leading sports injury research, data collection and translation center in the world. The Center will continue to provide injury surveillance and research to the NCAA, in addition to providing research and policy services broadly to academic researchers, sports governing organizations, and the sports medicine community.
By creating a collaborative platform with the NCAA, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and BioCrossroads, Datalys Center will work to advance the science of sports injury surveillance and research for the benefits of individuals and organizations with a vested interest in the prevention, mitigation, and treatment of sports and exercise injuries. The Center will also serve as an educational vehicle for sports and exercise medicine and health promotion.
Datalys Center is uniquely positioned to achieve this vision and provide a broad access platform with improved performance, quality, and responsiveness for both the data providers and the data users. |
