The Datalys Center for Sports Injury Research and Prevention, Inc. is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Data Quality Specialist.

About Us:
The Datalys Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that specializes in epidemiological research specifically related to sports and other forms of physical activity, primarily in the collegiate, high school, and youth sport settings. Clients include national sport governing bodies, sport associations, as well as private companies. The Datalys Center conducts surveillance studies and other forms of longitudinal and cross-sectional studies ranging from multicenter and multiyear aetiology and intervention studies to simple one-time surveys. Job Description:
The Data Quality Specialist will support ongoing Datalys programs through communication with study participants, project directors, and other scientific personnel. The Data Quality Specialist will be responsible for daily review, management, and evaluation of project related data and work with participants to assure submitted data are accurate and complete. This includes training and support for remote data collectors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current and accurate records of program status and participation.
  • Recruit and train data collectors.
  • Provide technological and procedural support as it relates to the program.
  • Review and perform quality control data under the direction of the Program Director.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Help to promote the organization by attending conferences and working informational booths (may require travel and eligible expenses will be reimbursed by the company)
  • Must be at office during regular business hours unless attending offsite project meetings or other job functions.
  • Travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Sciences, or Athletic Training.
  • Data management experience.
  • Research experience with human subjects.
  • SAS or other statistical software experience.
