The Datalys Center for Sports Injury Research and Prevention, Inc. is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Research Assistant. The chosen candidate will primarily support the operation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Injury Surveillance Program (ISP).

Job Description:
The Research Assistant will support ongoing Datalys programs (primarily the NCAA ISP) through communication with study participants, project directors, and other scientific personnel. The Research Assistant will be primarily responsible for daily review, management, and evaluation of project-related data and will work with participants to ensure that submitted data are accurate and complete. This includes the training and support of remote data collectors. In addition, the Research Assistant will also be responsible for supporting project directors and center leadership in the preparation of dissemination materials related to the Center’s ongoing projects and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain current and accurate records of program status and participation.
• Recruit and train data collectors.
• Provide technological and procedural support as it relates to the program.
• Review and perform data quality control under the direction of the Program Director.
• Support in the development or review of program-related dissemination materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Help to promote the organization by attending professional conferences and working informational booths.
• Maintain physical presence at the center’s main office during regular business hours unless attending offsite project meetings or other job functions.
• Travel may be required; eligible expenses will be reimbursed by the company.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Sciences, Athletic Training, or other related fields.
• Data management experience.
• Experience in research with human subjects.
• Experience in preparing and/or reviewing data-oriented reports and presentations.
• Experience programming in SAS or other statistical software.
• Experience interfacing with Electronic Medical Record systems.
