Adrian joined the Datalys Center in June 2020 as a Research Associate for the NCAA Injury Surveillance Program. Previously, he worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a clinical research assistant in the Center for the Study of Retired Athletes coordinating former NFL players’ clinical visits alongside the program manager for Brain and Body Health Program (powered by the NFL Trust). He also worked in Matthew Gfeller Sport-Related TBI Center where he was responsible for managing the NCAA/DOD Grand Alliance: Concussion Assessment, Research and Education (CARE) Consortium. Adrian graduated from Appalachian State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Chemistry. In 2018 he received his Master of Science in Health with a concentration in Exercise Science and Chronic Disease from the University of North Florida. His research interests include concussion symptomology in relation with return to play time and physiological changes related to mTBIs. In his free time Adrian enjoys hiking, playing golf, and exploring new cities.
